Derrywood Agencies are Ireland’s premier importers and distributors to the electrical wholesaler market of Ireland. The business was set up in 1988 by Galway business man Vincent Walsh. Vincent was later joined by his wife Margaret Walsh and their vision was to build a trusted brand of electrical products namely through GEWISS for the Irish market. In 2016 Vincent sadly passed away leaving Margaret Walsh and Glenn Hynes to run the business. In March 2017 Billy Kendrick joined Derrywood Agencies and alongside Glenn Hynes they founded a new brand of electrical products marketed as VINPOWER. The brand was born out of a shared vision to deliver reliable, durable, and innovative electrical solutions tailored for the industrial and commercial sectors.
In 2018, Billy and Glenn began actively promoting Vinpower to Ireland's wholesale market. Through a focused and strategic approach, they successfully positioned the brand as a dependable choice for professionals seeking quality and performance in electrical installations.
